Primitive Old Quilt

Hello and good day to you!
I've had this pretty primitive quilt for a while now ok maybe like over a year now I thought we might put it on our bed, because I just loved it and it was so different! As of yesterday I decided I have lots of things and its time to clean house a bit.....so it went to my booth at Uptowne Shoppes.

It's a nice size, rather large, heavy and in good shape.
But it never made it to our bed last year.

That's it for today! I'm hoping to catch up on your blogs and try to post more here too!
I have many pictures and more sharings!! See you again real soon!
Thanks for the sweet visit!!

ps. Can you believe today is the last day in July!!???! Summer is going by so fast!

Thrifty Nifties!

Happy sweet day to you!
I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far!
I feel a little behind here on the blog, if you follow me on Instagram, then you probably already seen these cute thrifty finds. I found these a couple weeks ago. I thought the books were so colorful, loved those cute shakers and those watches for re purposing/jewelry making, and of course I love a bag of laces and trims!!

I have been enjoying these flowers lately, just yesterday I was taking a whole bunch of pictures of them with butterflies and bees....I'll have to show those another time! :)

I also found this cage at a garage sale recently, it was bright gold color and in need of some new paint!
I decided on this creamy white for now and its hanging out from a branch right by my fairy garden!

I made a little something special for my mom, just because (:
............
the one that says "Mother" xxx

Happy mid-week!!
Hope you have a lovely rest of the week and stay cool!
I'm so enjoying this summer<3

Vintage Mermaid Inspired Buffet

Happy sweet Friday to you!!
I decorated my buffet a simple beach and summery theme.
I made this little garland out of some mint green crocheted squares that I got from sweet Andrea over at The Cottage Market a long while back :) I just simply sewed them on to a long piece of lace and then used small clothespins to attach the letters. So "beach" isn't permanent, and I can switch it out with another 5 letter word!

My inspiration came from this very sweet mermaid that I got from sweet Laurie over at Mapie Ethel.
I just love my mermaid!! Thank you so much again!
-sorry for the glare on the blue shelf-

A vintage tin on some old books.
Still have to add a few seashells around.....
 Just very simple and sweet!
I'm loving the mint and blue colors together!
Oh yes, you didn't think my lady wasn't going to the beach to did you!?!
Well she is ready! With her "sun hat" and all!
 {Love the vintage lamp shade as her sun hat!!}

Thanks for all your sweet comments on my other posts! You all are the best!
We're having a big yard sale tomorrow, its actually our first one, that we've been "in charge" ....lol
So busy, busy, busy getting last minute things prepped today! Hope it goes well for us!! :)

Have a lovely weekend!! It's suppose to be gorgeous here all weekend!

Yellow Post!

Sunny yellow flowers and yellow sweet cherries!
Happy sweet day to you!!
Our fence in front of our house, we still want to finish landscaping the front where the flowers and bike are and then we'll be done!....hopefully we'll get to it sooner than later! But for now I'll enjoy the pretty flowers!

Sweet yellow cherries that we picked the Sunday after the 4th of July

We each took a picture with the cherries :)

And here's some behind the scenes when we picked them!
Luke and I went picking with my sister and dad (:

There were lots of pretty red ones, but we thought the yellows had more yummy flavor!

Wishing you all a happy Wednesday!
Have a lovely and crafty day!!

A Walk Through My Fairy Garden

Hi sweet friends!
Come for a walk with me through my fairy garden.
In the last month or so, my mom and I have been quite busy making and building fairy houses and other cute things for our gardens!
I just love those tiny plants too!

Here's one of my big houses I made I just love how it turned out!
We painted windows, doors, and little porches.
See the cute little swing on the left side?
Warning: these are very addictive to start making!
The front door knock is a knob and so is the owl below.
Got these at Hobby Lobby :)

Another house, the chimneys are pieces of drift wood that we screwed onto the roofs.

Thanks for taking a walk with me!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, its rainy here today.....more time to play inside!
