Mother's day gifts :)

This year we celebrated Mother's day on Saturday

(I had to work Sunday{Mother's Day} and it was also my sister's birthday too!)

So Happy Birthday Heather! && Happy Mother's Day to the greatest most wonderful mom two girls could have!! It was a lovely Saturday, we celebrated for the grandmas, our mom, and my aunt {Smiles}

Now onto the gifts!!

Here's a few of the gifts I gave, I made these cute little bird seed holders, and a cute camera ruffle strap!

These were so easy to make and I thought they turned out so cute!

Vintage Fat quarters

I got these lovely fat quarters in the mail.

I was so excited when they came!!! They are soo pretty! Don't you think!?

I wish I had tons and tons of piles of these pretty linens & vintage fabrics. So many things you

could do with them!

itsy bitsy {Scraps}

Scraps from my quilt. I just thought they were so pretty, I had to take a picture :) I know that's kind of silly! I wish I could do something with them!?? Does anyone else do that too? Or am I the only one that feels bad for throwing these in the trash! Even though they are itsy bitsy pieces....lol. I don't know....one day I might think of something neat!

I'll Have Another....

Kentucky Derby 138 Winner:: "I'll have Another" was the horse's name.

I kinda think it would be neat to go to the derby sometime; with all the fancy dancy hats and the beautiful horses that make it a huge event. From the pictures, the grounds look sooo beautiful. And where we live we aren't too far away, just a few hours.

Fresh Flowers

Happy Friday everyone!! Hope you all have a nice weekend! I got these pretty flowers Tuesday, nothing like having some fresh flowers around the house. Yesterday I was able to get all my squares squared for the quilt I've been working on. Hoping to get some more done with them, but they might have to wait until next week. This weekend the hubby and I are working on the house some more.

We have two riding lawn mowers and they both aren't working. Thankfully my mom and dad live right down the road, although I feel bad relying on dad to come down and mow because they have a huge yard that has to be mowed too! lol. Last night after Luke got off work he push mowed the front and some of the back (closer to the house and shed) ....that way it doesn't look such like a dandelion field. haha.

{Jewelry Show} Art Attack ((Part 1))

Hi there!! I'm excited to show you some pictures from over the weekend. It was the 19th annual "Art Attack" in Harbor Country, MI. Here's just some of the pictures from my booth, I think I'm going to do a part 2 also. I would love to show you a couple pics of the art and the great appetizers and drinks we had too. So stay tuned!

It was a fun experience, my mother went with me on Saturday (the first day) and that was great! She ended up buying this beautiful art painting....I'll also have to show you a picture of it too. :)

Birthday Party{{9}}

Good morning!

 I wanted to share a sweet little birthday with you....

My cousin Emma, just had her 9th birthday. It's crazy how fast time flies by. I can't believe she's already nine!! Here's just a few pics from her party.

I'm excited the weather is finally warming up here, its suppose to be in the 80s this week!!!! So glad! I'm tired of being cold...lol. Of course there's a chance of rain through the whooooole week, but it will be warm at least! :)
