Rag Quilt Baby Blanket

Hi there, just popping in to say hi! 

Still very cold here, and we're suppose to be having really cold temps and some more snow the rest of the week. Last week I was excited to start and finish this baby blanket! {while staying in keeping warm ;) }

It's a rag quilt made out of flannels, my sister and I choose these fabrics a long while back (when I was buying a few to stock up) and I've had them stashed away. So last week I decided to get them out and play!

I've put a few "brights" and "greens" out.....they look nice and springy! 

Jerry says hi, and he's getting excited to be a big brother!! 

Hubs and I are hoping to do a few gender reveal pictures this weekend!!

Today I'm 24 weeks!!

Tea N Coffee Bookmarks and Crock pot Potato Soup

Happy Thursday! 

We've been keeping warm inside, with whiteouts blizzard like conditions and negative wind chills outside! Today is -20 wind chill....brrr!! 

I made some hand stamped vintage spoon book marks. 

 I love how they came out!!!

 I had a friend and my sister that wanted a few, I listed two in my Etsy shop, and one is still available.

On our very cold day today, I decided on 

Crock Pot Potato Soup

It's so delicious and so easy to make!! I had made it about a week and half ago. 

Here's the recipe:: 

*Cut potatoes into small bite size squares (to desired amount in crock pot)

*2 (14 oz) cans of chicken broth 

*1 (10.75 oz) can of cream of chicken soup

*1 large onion

* 1/3 tsp. ground black pepper

~*8 oz cream cheese***ADD later 

**OPTIONAL:: I added a few long carrots sliced up :)

Directions::: 

Combine everything in crock pot on low for about 5-6 hours. Stir in cream cheese, cook about 30 minutes longer/ or the last 30 min. 

~Stirring occasionally 

Garnish::: **optional*

green onions, cheese, and bacon.....yum!! 

It's so good with out it too!!

My mom got me this sweet Annie!! Isn't she just adorable!! 

She's a tree topper, for my Valentine tree! 

Pam sent me a Valentine card, thank you sweet friend!!! I love the little girl and the horse! 

A little something sweet for my sister I packaged up :) 

My mom also got me this adorable pillow too! 

It has a love note in the heart pocket!

He made me a yummy french toast breakfast. And I'm loving the vintage magazine he got me :)

A few sweet creations by Laurie, that I had gotten a few weeks ago.

 I was able to part with one sweetly wrapped the one on the right up for my mom. 

She just loved it!!

Happy Pink and Red week!!

Hearts, love, pinks and reds!

It's Valentine's week!! 

So many sweet colors at this time of the year!

I was working on making a few hearts, maybe for the scrapbook (once I catch up) :)

 I've been wanting a new long necklace for myself, 

after a couple days of looking at my beads and colors I put together this necklace. 

 I just wanted something simple, sweet and long! 

 I love how it turned out!! 

I wanted to thank you all for all the well wishes and asking how I am! 

How very sweet of you!! 

The last two weeks I've been feeling much better and a little more like myself: wanting to craft and create! I'm hoping I'm over all that morning sickness -ness!

Over 19 inches

Hi sweet friends!! 

Throughout the day I've been on and off the computer trying to catch up with some of you, you've all been busy!! :) I'm enjoying reading and visiting with you! We're still a bit snowed in from Sunday. 

We got over 19 inches total just Sunday, a few yesterday and probably another 4 inches during the day today! And its still snowing lightly out there! 

Snow piled high on my car mirror! 

Love watching the birds out my kitchen window, they don't seem to mind all the snow!

I had a custom order for three "coffee lover" spoons, that I finished up last week (when our weather was a wee bit warmer) and my sweet friend was able to come by today and pick them up. She just loved, loved them :) Always puts a smile on my face and makes me feel happy! I got to list an extra "Coffee Lover" spoon in my Etsy Shop too! :)
