New Bracelets

TwO new Spring bracelets....

I Used: Fresh water pearls, pewter, black onyx, mother of pearl, shells, & handcut chinese crystals

What a tease in this weather! It's snowing sideways out there right now and feels so cold out and last week all the snow melted and it was almost 60 degrees. Uh can't wait for spring weather to get here, puts me in a great mood and gives me motivation to do a lot things. I want to start running again, gotta get back in shape ;) lol. That means a few less oreo cake balls for me! haha. Alrighty, well gotta get painting! We are redoing our living room, i'm so excited for it to get done!!

A simple small project

It's a small cabinet above our washer in the laundry room, that I just recently decided to redo. I think it looks so much better and lightens the room even more now! I still have to find a couple cool knobs for the doors but here it is::                                                      Before

I think i'm going to put some greenery up on top and decorate it up!

Chocolate Oreo Cake Balls! YUM

I found the recipe online for these oreo cake balls and they are really good! & super easy to make!

You will need:

• 1 box of oreo cookies (get the real thing, fake oreos are just not the same)
• 1 package of cream cheese
• 1 bag of white chocolate chips
• Vegetable oil (optional)
• Sanding sugar / sprinkles (optional)

1. In a food processor, crush the entire package of oreos until they are finely ground.
2. Using a mixer, mix ground oreos and the block of cream cheese. I found it easier to use my hands after mixing a little bit.
3. Form into balls and let cool in the freezer or outside for about 20 minutes.  After they have cooled for a bit, put your white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl or mug.  I used a smidge of vegetable oil to help keep the consistancy nice and smooth and keep the chocolate from drying out, but it is optional.  Microwave on 50% power for about 15-30 seconds at a time, stiring frequently.  It is easy to overcook the chocolate to be careful!
4. Using a fork, dip each oreo ball into the white chocolate and tap off excess chocolate.  Place on foil or wax paper.
5. If you like, you can sprinkle sanding sugar or sprinkles on the oreo balls before the chocolate sets.
6. Let the chocolate set and Enjoy!!

Spring is on its way!

 

Had a lovely Valentine's day/weekend, the fiance and I spent Sunday as our Valentine's day, we both had to work on Monday...it turned out really great  =) He got me some beautiful flowers (Tulips) With the new fresh flowers in the house and the warm sun out, reminds me of a spring day! I can't wait for it to get here!

I was looking through my jewelry and seen this charm that my dad got me last Valentine's day!! Made me smile<3

Finally Friday!

It's finally Friday! I can't wait until Luke gets off work, and we can start our weekend. Hopefully it warms up alittle out there in the elements! lol. Today's wind chill is -10 burrrrr... Going down to mom and dad's to put the horses out for a while in this beautiful sunshine! At least it's sunny out there. I'm sooo ready for spring weather and spring flowers to get here :) AND soon following that, the lovely warm, hot weather of SUMMER!!!

Yesterday Jerry and I went outside playing in the snow for just a little while. In some areas the snow difts in the backyard were up to my hip!

Ground Hog's Day!

Happy Early Spring!! :) Thank goodness the ground hog didn't see his shadow!

As for us, we are still snowed in. No work for either of us today....SNOW DAY!! YAY!
