Building the perfect Nest

~This little bird house, my grandmother made us, is packed full of little tiny sticks and feathers. I've been peaking in there every once in a while when they fly out. I don't know how they could fit much more in there! But they just keep bringing more and more things in. Those little birds are so cute and fun to watch. The house is right on our front deck so we see them alot! It's so funny when such a small bird has this big twig that he's shoving in there, to make his warm little nest. 

~And if you remember from a few posts ago when I put the yarn out, there's alot missing so I think birds are using it to create their nests :) {Smiles}

Market Tote Bag~

Here's another vintage market tote bag I just made. I loved this pretty vintage fabric! What a fun looking bag...I just have to tell my self I can't keep them all! Even though I would love to! You can never have enough bags along with many other things such as shoes and purses.... lol.

So here it is : )

Taking them to a shop called "The Vintage Rose" up town, I hope they go well! I just love the name of the shop...too cute!

And I also through in a few vintage cuff bracelets!!

Love these tags I made up for the tote bags, I might have to make

some more for different things too!

Vintage Market Tote/Bag

Hello there friends, hope everyone's week is going pretty good, glad its Thursday and one more day til Friday! Recently I've been making several of these new vintage market tote bags. I love them! I have a few in my booth at Thodes Floral & Gifts, up town in Laporte.

I do just love this bright {summery} yellow one. I thought they would be great for taking with you to garage sales and flea markets :)

*Also a great reuseable grocery bag!!

I'm thinking about putting a couple in my etsy shop.

Ps. I've been on the look for some good estate, barn sales,

flea markets, do you know of any

around?  :)

Old Bike

Last year I got this bike at a huge junk shop. I can't wait to they open again, this year, so we can go back! They had a ton of bikes and one of everything at least! haha. I'm planning on putting a cute basket on the front with some flowers :)

Along with the bike here's a few other goodies I got :)

~we will be working on our room some more, we're getting close now. Putting in a new door and screen door, today, hopefully getting the wood floors put in and touching up an some paint.  Went yesterday and got all of our trim pieces; base board, chair railing (for the beadboard) and trim around the window and doors. Almost there!! - <Still have to paint all the trim pieces and beadboard.>

Rag Baby Quilt

Hello there, I've been wanting to share this with you all for a while now, but I had to wait until my friend's baby shower was over. I gave it to her for a gift :)  It was such a wonderful shower, lots of food, friends and cake! Wish I would have gotten a couple pictures.

So here it is :::

I thought the scraps were pretty and cute....I put them in a small container, hopefully I'll use them for something fun in the future!

Spring Bag

One day last week I got inspired to make a two colored

springy bag, this is how it turned out .....

I think I would like to make a couple more...it was pretty easy, and it's a

cute design. I think I would like some pretty floral colors a (vintagey look) would be nice!

I decided to put it in my booth for sale,

and here it is hanging up :)
