~Vintage Garland~

I was inspired from Elizabeth's pretty mitten garland that she gave me,

 so I decided to make a garland of my own :) With her great tips of a thicker card board like material in between the two pictures. On the back sides I just put some pretty Christmasy scrapbook paper :)

Letters to Santa.....

If you notice the little box behind the garland~ is an old post office box, that made dad made for me several years ago. I thought it would be cute behind them for a few pictures, especially the vintage boy giving mail and the little girl with "Letters for Santa." 

 I did manage to sew a few Christmas presents yesterday,

 but of course I can't show them to you yet.

Long over due...

Hi there, I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving! 

We sure did enjoy ours, me and mine had a mini vacation, (from work at least) and got many things done around the house that we wanted to. We even got in some Christmas shopping & gift ideas (that I'm so excited about) done, cookie making, one Christmas movie watched, and some quality time with the families!

I finally figured things out with my blog, so now I have space to upload more picture...yay! lol.

I've been wanting to show you this oh so very sweet mitten garland that I won in a giveaway over at Creative Breathing.....

Isn't it just beautiful!?!

 I love it so much, thank you Elizabeth for such a generous giveaway! I have it hanging in the doorway to my craft room, right off our living room :) My mom, sister and dad came over for breakfast one morning and were drawn to it. They thought it was so pretty and so neat!

From this, I got inspired about making a vintage Christmas garland, 

that I'm currently working on :)

 I also received this sweet package from Donna 

over at Donna's Lavender Nest from her giveaway!

She was so generous on her giveaway too! Such pretty fabrics, 

a pattern and I love that cute little acorn she threw in there!!

Maybe a simple thing

Hi there friends, I tried to upload a few pictures for my blog post this evening,

and a box popped up and said I have reached my 100%  1GB for photos for my blog. 

??????

 Does anyone know what this means or what I need to do to fix it? 

Any information would be wonderful. :) :)

New items in the shop :)

Happy Saturday!!!

Today I've been quite busy listing a few thing in my etsy shop,

uploading pictures from the past few days, cleaning, and laundry!

I've been busy making new "Holiday" scented candles, 

I've listed one in the shop so far, and I've taken a dozen up town to my booths.

I love how they turned out!!! 

Some of my scents so far are: "Amaretto Nog" "Blue Spruce" and "Apple Pie"

Christmas finds

One of my favorite little shops in one of the antique stores uptown, 

had tons of vintage Christmas goodness out! 

and I was a lucky girl to bring some of it home! :)

in the above picture, you can see all those little Santas, I loved them!

I'm not quite sure what i'm going to do with them, I thought they could be good for crafting something, but they indeed were coming home with me :) :)

And a cute little church covered in a lite snow 

makes my heart melt. 

 I was so giddy to get all these treasures....I think I'm going back today, to see if there is anything else new!? {Crossing my fingers}.....While I'm uptown I mise well hit up a few other shops too, right?

 I'm going to switch some things around in my booth and add some Christmas cheer to it!

Vintage Christmas Apron

I ran into an antique mall over the weekend and found a few treasures.

I just was jumping for joy when I found these, not one but two, vintage Christmas aprons! 

I was so excited, because I just had gotten my dress form lady and she was in need of a Christmasy apron of some sort!

I love this one, so crisp and clean looking

But then there's this one too.....

So cute with the kittys and candy canes on the bottom.

This one is longer and the ties are a bit bigger....

You can even wrap them in the front if you'd like! :) 

{If} I can part with one, I might be putting it in my etsy shop, along with some other Christmas goodies, hopefully by the end of this week! :)

A sweet package

Hi there sweet friends! I had purchased something from Heather over at Vintage Grey,

I was so excited when I got this sweet package in the mail! It was a little hard to retain myself not to just open it, so I grabbed the camera first and quickly........

Such a beautifully made mini quilt 

& she added a few extra little goodies in there for me!

Vintage Christmas Ornament

Yesterday I had a little time to do some crafting so I gathered a few things 

and went to my hot glue gun station :) 

I made this little ornament out of an old  vintage jello mold 

and some miscellaneous Christmasy things :) Oh and a little glitter :) 

Here's a few things I've been working on too.......

I made some little trees (that aren't finished yet in this picture) you'll just have to wait to see them! And some cute vintage stockings out of an old quilt.
