I was inspired from Elizabeth's pretty mitten garland that she gave me,
so I decided to make a garland of my own :) With her great tips of a thicker card board like material in between the two pictures. On the back sides I just put some pretty Christmasy scrapbook paper :)
Letters to Santa.....
*Joy*
If you notice the little box behind the garland~ is an old post office box, that made dad made for me several years ago. I thought it would be cute behind them for a few pictures, especially the vintage boy giving mail and the little girl with "Letters for Santa."
I did manage to sew a few Christmas presents yesterday,
but of course I can't show them to you yet.
Have a lovely day! Happy Holidays!!

The garland is a great idea, I made one from an old Christmas Carol book for my home and put a few in my booth each year. They seem to make great gifts for music teachers!

ReplyDeleteI love these vintage card garlands. I have done this with Valentines, but not Christmas cards yet. I have a salvaged album of old cards and I want to scan them in and print them out so I have some neat things to work with come fall, too! Beautiful work, now following, A
