Candles, Tarts, Grannys... Oh My!

Hi there! Happy middle of the week!

I've been busy filling candle, and warmer tart orders. I just love making them! And smelling all the wonderful scents!

Oh my goodness do they all smell soooooooo good!! 

~Of course~ Having fun decorating them too!

Snow day::Fun day

A very happy Monday to you all! 

Here's a bit of our snow day that I mentioned in the last post. 

Everything outside was so pretty and covered in the white snow. Jerry was having a blast in it! He was zooming around the whole yard! :) 

Of course after being outside in the cold we had to have to hot cocoa! 

{With heart shaped marshmallows} :) 

 I've been making several of these little crochet hearts! They are pretty fast and easy to whip up! 

And to cute too! I've also been making granny squares, after seeing my "Mug Sweater" my sis wants one for her tea cup, so I made her up a couple grannys to pick from, and just need to hook them together and fasten a cute button on :)

*We got 5-6 inches of snow last night, I was so excited when I got up this morning, everything was so beautiful and quiet :) So naturally Jerry and I had to make it a SNOW DAY FUN DAY!  This afternoon we went out and played in the snow and took some pictures, I'll have to share a few with you next time!

Soft pink and Ivory Tweed

Hi, Happy Wednesday! 

I hope you don't mind, I've been playing around taking a lot of new pictures in the last couple days :) 

It has been super cold here, yesterday it said it was only 1 degrees when I got up and windchill of -12! Yikes! Today is suppose to be a high of 19 and a low of 12, much warmer of what we've had but still pretty cold! Brrr...

He's too funny, I got Luke that giant stuffed Dr. Pepper back in 2005! (Yes, somehow we still have it!) We were going to give it to goodwill and Jerry seen it and loved it, so he has been playing and playing with it! haha. He drags it room to room, beating it up! LOL. ~the last picture, he must have tuckered himself out, time to take a nap by Dr. Pepper! :) 

Oh how I LOVE this picture of our Jerry boy!  :) 

 

I've really been loving crocheting!

 I can't wait to show you what I've been working on and making!!

Valentine Earrings :)

A few new pairs of earrings for Valentine's Day~

A few weeks ago I ran into one of the antique stores and found these old bottles. I actually seen them, looked at them and thought I don't know what I would do with them....they were old spice jars. So I left them there, got home and was like Hello, I should have just gotten them, I'm sure I'll think of something to use them for! Then I began thinking of cute things I could do with them. I wasn't able to get back until a few days later and luckily they were still there! I was pretty excited! Lol.

~So I started with this one, and decorated it for Valentine's Day.

  I put some small red confetti hearts in the bottom of the jar. 

"Aint cha gonna ask me to be your Valentine? "

Ok, back to the earrings ....... lol 

I thought both of these pairs turned out sweetly.

And this pair I thought were just "fun" :) And they are super light too!

A Valentine for you

How cute is this sweet little blue bird!?! 

I've been working on a few Valentine things .....

here's a little peak!

I finished off my crochet project and just need to 

crochet the ends together to make my cowl scarf! I'm really liking crocheting!

 And I like this color I decided to go with for my first project,

 it's called Ivory Tweed :) :)

Sunday I was able to make a few candle batches, and wanting to make another tonight after dinner :)

A happy Saturday

Hi friends! A happy Saturday to you all! 

Have you been up to anything fun lately? I learned how to crochet last weekend and i'm working on making a cowl scarf. I'm so excited for the finished project! I love how it's going so far! I purchased a pattern for a "mug sweater" using two granny squares, to keep  that coffee cup warm and my hands cool, ~that is already my next project I'm planning! :) 

Yesterday my grandma dropped us off a loaf of banana nut bread and some beer bread.....they both are so good! {Thank you grandma!}

Through the winter I've had a few little gifts sitting in an old suitcase 

by the door for any guests that would come to visit us :)

 Hot chocolate with marshmallows, 

Old fashion hard candies, 

Cappuccino mix,

 and peppermint "crunch"

And for some reason (which i'm surprised!) I didn't get a picture of the suitcase.

~Orange you going to be my Valentine??

I have this little tag sitting in our kitchen by the fruit bowl // with oranges in the bowl! LOL 

Thought it was cute :)  

I've been thinking and wanting to do a giveaway......

so I think i'm going to do one very soon! It will be my first one!! EEEE!
