Good morning! Happy Monday & Presidents day!
Here are a few pictures of my booth in "Uptown Shoppes" over on State Street in LaPorte.
(Some of the pictures aren't the best quality, they were taken with my phone.) But at least you can see a few pictures :)
I'm not completely done moving in, but its a start :)
Here's a few things I took up to the shop::
Vintage Cuff Bracelets, mug rugs, handmade carrots, hankie flower brooches, and a few garlands.
I made this cute little nest in a vintage tea cup :)
{Cute for spring time!}
A few more things I took :: ~Love those little carrots!
I put together a little Valentine surprise for my mom in a cute little bag.
And awaiting the hubby to get home on Valentine's Day.....
We had a lovely evening together,
we went out to eat and I had made up a yummy fruit tray with some cream cheese dip for dessert afterwards :)
What a pretty booth! I love those brooches and banners!

DeleteI am so excited . . . I've been blogging for a little over a year now and you are the first blogger that I have found from LaPorte County. Your booth is adorable and if I ever make the trip home again I will be sure and stop in and check it out. I spent my early years in Michigan City, and after my father died in 1962, ( I was 15) my mother and I moved to Springfield township and she opened the little grocery store there. I have no idea if that building is even still there. Anyway she ran it for a couple years and then moved out west to be closer to my sister. I do not know if the photo of you and your husband sitting on the steps is your home or not, but it looks lovely. I have always loved old homes and thought it would be wonderful to live in one and restore it.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is delightful and you are very creative. I am your newest follower . . . or I will be as soon as I quit typing and hit the follow button. I found you at "Vintage Bettys".
I'm sending you a wave "HI", from the Pacific Northwest.
Your blogging sister (grandma, in your case), Connie :)
P.S. A the moment I am having a Give-Away, please stop by, visit and enter:)
Oh how neat!! I think I've only come across one or two other people even just from Indiana! So you being from Laporte is crazy! :) Headed over to your blog :) xx Holly
