Hi there! Hope all my U.S. friends had a great 4th of July and a wonderful weekend to follow!
We got to spend it with some really good friends and family. Early breakfasts, our big parade in our town (this year we had 118 different floats and or groups!), seeing good friends, bon fires, giant smores, roasting hot dogs on the fire, playing games, and visiting with family! :)
So here is my "Primitive rustic barn block pillow", grubbed up with a sweet recipe. And filled with Pine shavings!
I love the way it came out!
And the weight of the shavings makes it feel really nice & heavy!
Barn block pillow #2 (sneak peak)
Pretty strawberries on the backside, almost done with this one,
just have to stitch up the back opening.
Wishing you all a lovely week!
xo Holly
ps. I wish I could reply on here so that you would see me commenting back, I was doing that for a while and someone brought that to my attention that unless you come back to my page, you wouldn't ever see it. So I stopped doing that, and started trying to reply from email from the comments, and some do not have a email attached to their comment it just says (A non-reply blogger) I just wanted to let you know I do read all your comments and am so thankful of getting any! :) I just love hearing from you!!! I will continue to reply back in email, (if I can to those who are set up for it) but sometimes my emails get back up and I don't check it as often as I probably should! Lol. Thanks for understanding!!!
Have a great day!
Hi Holly!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had the perfect 4th!
I LOVE your pillow! Sometimes I really go towards a prim/folk art style. And it's so fun to distress things isn't it?
You're so right about the COMMENT thing. It's hard to keep up! And I often feel guilty if I haven't commented back on every comment. I too, hope my readers understand. And I'm sure they do, because everyone is so nice around here!
Thanks Holly!
Erica :)

How creative they are Holly! Love them. The shavings making them heavy is a great idea, sometimes my pillows blow off my outdoor chairs. Have a great week!
