I had a lovely birthday yesterday and tonight we're celebrating with the grandmothers.

A Birthday Surprise

Hi sweet friends! Happy Tuesday!

Late last week I received the sweetest birthday surprise in the mail from Danielle over at Blessed Serendipity  It was sent in an old vintage Bingo box, I was so excited to see what was inside.

 Love this pretty hoop!! Isn't it gorgeous!?! 

I have it hang in the door way to my craft room! :) 

 This little book is so darling! All the pictures are just so cute!

Thank you soo sooo much again Danielle!! I'm so blessed to have a sweet friend like you! I love everything that you sent!! :) 

Yep..... this Thursday i'm going to be the big two five! I'm in my "mids" now. Time really does fly by!!

A few finds

Good morning! 

Here are a few finds I found at an estate sale I went to last weekend.

Not sure what I'm going to use the tool box for yet, it was only a dollar, I figured I could use it for something! Lol. I thought the little red metal case was so cute, I was already picturing that one spray painted a different color and doing like an altered box out of it. And putting many fun pieces on and inside of it.

The watches I was excited to get, I've been wanting some for jewelry making! 

This cabinet was $2.50.....how can you pass that up!?! so I decided to get it. I've been seeing online and pinterest them spray painted and all prettied up. I might try something like that or maybe just donate it to Luke (if he can maybe use it or even put it in the garage or something)

I showed hubby these online and he said oh we can make those!

So he ordered some parts and ta da! 

 And now I have a sweet drinking glass! :) 

I'm going to make a candle batch of Cranberry Marmalade and Apples & Maple Bourbon for a friend at work. Are you up to anything fun today? I've been having fall and Halloween on my mind lately, and I'm wanting to start making some new things..... :)

Happy Happy Mail

It's a happy mail day here!

I got the most adorable package from sweet Heather over at Vintage Grey and some darling pencils from Stacy over at A Sort of Fairytale in the mail!! 

The cute pencils were a just because, (I guessed the next theme of her shop) "Back to School"

so sweet of her to send them to me!!! And they are so pretty too!

 Oh what sweet packaging!!! And very exciting to open too!

I just love all the pretty layers.

 I ordered one of Heather's very sweet pot holders and crochet hangers

Isn't the kitty just adorable! Her stitching is unbelievably amazing!! 

{I can't wait to hang it in my kitchen :) }

Oh and this hanger.....Soooooo lovely!! 

She included a cross stitch rose on the fabric of the strawberry!

I love the backside too!

Etsy Shop Update

Happy Saturday!

Mom and I just got home from an estate sale, very small cute house. We each picked up a few goodies, I'll have to take pictures and show you. ((I was really hoping to find some vintage Christmas, but didn't really see much that caught my eye.))

Here's a little update on my Etsy Shop::

3 Mares

Thank you all so much for your kind, loving, sweet, well wishes, thoughts and prayers. You all are so incredibly sweet!

I wanted to share some pictures of the mares that I took a couple days ago. 

I hope their faces will leave a smile on yours. 

They are up in the front pasture right now, they have a back one full of grass, but they can't be back there too long because they'll get a belly ache from eating too much green grass. So we let them go in the back pasture for a couple hours a day.

A Celebration of Life

Hi there sweet friends, sorry I have been a little absent lately. Today my heart is heavy for a dear friend and her family, as she celebrates life today. She was in a bad car accident late last Wednesday and passed away on Friday. She was my age (24) and we've been friends since about age 7 or 8. We've had many memories together, through 4-h, showing at horse shows, having slumber parties, and her scaring me half to death driving the gator around up and down hills at her house. Today we are celebrating her, as she donated her organs saving the lives of at least eight people. 

May God help her family heal from this tragedy, they are in my continued prayers and constant thoughts.

You will be missed dearly Hanna, we all love you!
