A January Blessing

(sweet image from Meri)

Hi sweet friends! Hope you're doing well!
I took this picture our flag yesterday morning, it was so beautiful!
As some may know already from facebook, my hubby was involved in the bad accident on Interstate 94 Thursday afternoon, on his way home from work. You can see it here
We are both so glad and "thankful" he's ok, here, and able to basically walk away from this awful wreck. Our thoughts and prayers are with the other families. He had x-rays, mri, ct scans done and nothing was broken and all his organs were ok. Just bruising, some swelling, and whip lash. His car is messed up, one of the back windows bust out too, it will probably end up getting totaled. We're just so thankful, I think his guardian angel was watching over him! :)  So with this happening we've been just staying in and taking it easy. In fact we just got done making some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! Yum! It looks like a complete white out outside right now, what a winter we are having!! And some negative temps back on there way tomorrow. Everyone stay warm out there!!
Today I posted a couple new pretty and bright things in my Etsy shop!

why yes, it's a crochet heart garland!
It will make a home happy, for sure!
It's just as sweet as can be!

Wishing you all a safe and warm new week!
(I know any schools in the area are already closed for tomorrow, for lots of snow, blowing, and negative temperatures that are heading in.)

Thanks for visiting my little blog!
Have a lovely day!
xo Holly

ps. "Always remember there's always something to be thankful for"
