A pretty cup cozy

I just love this cute cup cozy I made using some of my new fabrics! 

this picture is yelling "Garden Party!!"

It should fit any standard to go cup (modeled on a Starbucks cup)

I'm thinking about making a few of these to stick in my shop! What do you think!? 

I think they will make any drink that much sweeter! 

I can't wait to use one in the summer with some sweet tea!! Oh boy I must be dreaming! Lets just let spring get here first!!! Lol

I bought this new very cute calender at Hobby Lobby yesterday with mom. It was even on clearance...probably because its almost March! But has so many beautiful pictures and sweet words! I hung it right up last night over my desk :) 

Are you doing anything fun tonight? (On the last day of February??) 

I think hubby and I are going to get Mexican take out, eat at home, relax, and maybe watch some Downton! :) (We're almost done with season 3)

Thrifted Pretties

Happy Sweet day dear friends! 

 I found some very pretty thrifty finds over the weekend.

 I was just tickled of what I came home with! 

I always get excited when I see boxes, so I opened this pretty one with the flowers on it and .... beautiful  vintage cards were inside!! (I have weakness for those, along with many other things!)

 And I just love the pretty jewelry that came home with me too! 

Most of it was in a bag labeled "Junk Jewelry" ~Perfect!!! (: 

 And lastly a plate full of cupcakes waiting for Luke to come home from work :) 

I didn't eat two while I was waiting.....

You may have noticed on my sidebar that I've added some new warmer tarts and scents to my Etsy Shop in the last few days! I plan to add things here and there!

I'm pretty excited about my new pile of beautiful fabrics from Donna over at Donna's Lavender Nest! She's so wonderful to order from!! :) Thanks so much Donna!! They are all so very sweet!! Some are from the "Pam Kitty" bundle!! Just darling they are!! 

Hope you're staying warm or dry! lol...it's been raining all day here and looks like a lake outside, with all of our melting snow! Feeding the horses this morning was like an adventure to get back to the barn! ....ice skating rink, muddy, and ponds! Lol. Not to mention some flooding inside the barn door and two stalls flooded. I have almost all my Valentine decorations down, and i'm thinking moss balls, and some greenery around!

A "Mitts" over load & new goodies in the shop

Hi there sweet friends! Happy new week! 

Hope you all had the most wonderful Valentine's day weekend!! Luke knows me all to well, he got me chocolates, the new Flea Market Garden Magazine(Yay!), and we went out to eat together Friday night, and then again Saturday with mom & dad and two other couples, we ate at Olive Garden and then seen a movie. {I must say the new magazine has me dreaming of warm air and lots of beautiful flowers!!} 

I finished these mitts and finally got around to take some pictures of them, and they are now listed in my shop

 I do love the way they came out, with a pretty red ruffle along the edges and a pretty red rose on top! So cute!! 

and perfect with a cup of tea!

I think they are perfect for this time of year too! Still very cold and chilly here, but will be wonderful in the spring (that is hopefully right around the corner!) 

Here's a nice neutral tan pair, also listed in my shop 

And this pair is for my mom, she wanted some of my mitts to match her Black Hawk scarf I made for her. (If you missed that post, its here)

A Beautiful Snow Day
