~Love Letters in June~

As one of my anniversary gifts my hubby got me, was this really neat set to make "old" letters. It came with the really cool peacock pen, black ink, candle (wax) for sealing and the "Love" stamp.  But the best part was he actually used all of this and made me a very sweet old looking love letter. I thought it was soo sweet of him!! He said it took him quite some time to make it, having to dip the in the ink about every other word. He's such a sweetie, love him so much!

*So I thought I'd share this with and if you needed any sweet ideas to get your special someone, this might be perfect for them too!

*We talked about framing one of our wedding invitations, a picture from our wedding, a picture from when we first starting dating (8 years ago) and along with those, this love letter!

I would love to know if you've done anything like this before or thought about it!? I think it would be a great piece of your history on the wall :) :) {Smiles}

I fell in love soon as I seen it!

Fun Adventure~

Our 1st Wedding Anniversary, we both were so excited for this, and many more to come!

& tomorrow is our 8 year mark together! So crazy how time flies by!! I am so thankful that I have a wonderful, supportive, loving husband though :) :)

Ok now onto funner things.... lol. (And yes I did say funner and

No I don't think its a word! ha!)  Saturday we went to one of the few zoos around us...

I love going and seeing all the animals, its always a great time.

Ha- that monkey in the upper right corner below here was too funny!

He kept running back and forth through his tree and leaning out onto the window, while eating grapes, I have no idea what he was looking for but he was a character!

One of my favorite exhibits! They just put this new parakeet exhibit in.

You get to go into this big cage/pen area, and they are just flying around, most

of them are pretty friendly and love to eat a treat off a stick :) There were so many,

you also have to be careful not to step on any because they're all over the ground too! lol.

and then ...........to the beach :) ahh

get creative.  I've been wanting to make a few new things :) :)

Strawberry Pickin'

My love and I went strawberry eating....I mean picking

 (seriously more like eating..lol) I love fresh strawberries and being out

in the patch is just a wonderful feeling, ya know!?

We were a little early in the season, but there

were plenty of good little ones out there.

We had a blast, as always!! The patch we went to and

have went to in the past is really big and really nice :)

Since we picked all those fresh strawberries...hmm... what to do with them all!?!?!

~STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE! YES!~

I knew we were going picking after Luke got off work,

so during the day I made some little shortcake biscuits.

Our Strawberry Shortcake::

*shortcake biscuit~ (make them)

warm up in the microwave for about 13 sec.

*cut fresh strawberries mix with a little sugar and water

*vanilla ice cream

*whip cream if you'd like!

Today & Monday(our official day{the 4th}) the hubby and I are celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary!! && on Tuesday it will be 8 years together<3 :) :)

New creations :)

A week or so ago my cousin Stephanie came to visit me. I had asked her if she'd run to this amazing bead store before she came, its really close to where she lives, to pick a few things up for me. I haven't gotten a chance to go there in a couple months. This is store is sooo awesome they have any and every kind of bead you could think of!! It's where I get majority of all my stuff for beading from. :)

Anyways so I had her pick a few strands out that she liked and bring them up with her!

I love the bunch she brought me!! So pretty and perfect for a nice summery start!

Over the weekend before one of three of our cookouts I was able to sit outside in the warm HOT sunshine and bead some! So this is what I cam up with, I'm just loving these new colors!

a lovely summer bracelet

Hope you enjoyed looking at these beauties, I just love real stones, they're just so pretty to me, I've always liked them since my childhood.  I use to collect all kinds of polished rocks and even some that weren't polished. My mom and dad got me a rock tumbler when I was younger, we had a lot of fun playing with it and making old dirty rocks turn into these beautiful gems! We did purple amethyst, fools gold, and so many more.

Vintage reds

Maybe some kitchen linens??

I thought this vintage linen would be perfect to make some

 cute little kitchen curtains out of! I just use about napkin size

on half of my window above my sink. That way the top can still

 let light in if they're closed.

I couldn't pass this sweet little hanky up, so

I had to purchase it :) ((Smiles))
