Vintage Child's Tea Set

I found this fabulous little set last week.

 I thought they were so cute! It's a vintage child's

 tea set. I'm thinking I might put a 

cup and saucer or two in my shop.

I wanted to buy them to make a few different things, even 

though its so cute together. 

I plan on planting a couple cute little 

plants in a few of the items, and using others for

 wind chimes and a couple other ideas I had!!

I was so excited when I checked all of my comments on my

The other day while I was out "treasure hunting" I came across this cute little book.

I just loved the sweet little pictures.

 I had bought it with the intensions on making something with all the pretty pages, but I almost feel bad cutting it up..... So I will have to think of some really cute before just diving in! 

I'm adding some Vintage Napkin Sets to my shop~up town LaPorte @@ Thodes Gift and Floral Shop, if your near the area, stop in and have a look!! 

I just love these napkin sets, so comfy and really could be used for anything :)

Vintage Sheet Curtains

Good Morning!!!

Hope the sun is shining brightly were you are....

The other day I showed you some vintage sheets and linens, in my

process of making these wonderful curtains :)  I'm so excited how they came out!! I made them for our backdoor which is pretty close to the kitchen, and they look perfect hanging there! I'm in love! lol.

Purple Martin BirdHouse

For Father's day my sister and I got our dad this Purple Martin Bird House.

"The Purple Martin (Progne subis) is the largest North American swallow.These aerial acrobats have speed and agility in flight, and when approaching their housing, will dive from the sky at great speeds with their wings tucked......" To read a little bit more on these birds, click HERE.

Love for vintage sheets :)

Guess what I'm making!?!???

I'm making a vintage curtain for our back door. I'm so excited about all these pretty vintage sheets and linens :) They're just beautiful, I don't think I could ever have enough of them either! lol. Are you working on anything fun?  I'm getting ready to go "treasure hunting" with my mom :) :) Such a fun thing to do!! I hope we come home with a few goodies!

Pretty Flowers

I love these huge baskets! There's a huge Greenhouse that my mom introduced me to this year, called Vites....it's seriously so amazing there! All of there plants and flowers are gorgeous!! There's a few pictures coming up of the place :)

Some flowers my hubby stopped and got me on his way home from work one day :)

This was my cart, when my mom and I went to get flowers ...lol

Something by mail~

I absolutely love walking down to my mail box and finding such sweet little things!!

I purchased this scrap pack of vintage linens and vintage sheets. I'm so excited to do something with them!! They are all so full of pretty colors :) :)

But today I'm busy working on a {Baby Rag Quilt} order, it's for a little boy.... If you remember I made a little girl's quilt back in April  HERE.
