My Hometown ~tags~

My hometown, I've grown up here all my life in a little town called Rolling Prairie.
There's lots of trees, corn fields, and nice people.

With these lovely ladies, I created "Damita's Pretty Wrap"
Casey is on the left hand side and Damita is on the right. If you would like to know more about the story how I created the name together you can go to my facebook page and read the info "about me" :)
I love these two ladies with all me heart. Horses have had such a wonderful impact on my life and a special place in my heart. My family and I got our first horse when I was at the age of 5, and boy did we learn a lot through the years. When I was in 3rd grade I was able to start Horse and Pony 4-H and I completed that the whole 10 years until I was 18 years old. That 10 years held some of the very best memories of my life.

Casey and I with my 10 year member award,
I was so sad fair was over that year. I always looked forward to it every year.

(Top Right^) Christmas time, my mom's three dogs and our Jerry in the middle. My mom and dad had always raised and bred Golden Retrievers as my sister and I grew up. (Bottom pic ^) Here's at the back of the pasture December last year...I couldn't believe we didn't have snow at that time! We actually took a nice walk out into the woods.

This picture is from 2005! We all loved playing in the snow!

Lilac trees lined my parents driveway back to the barn,
such a lovely walk, and good smells too!

Back to the Hometown tags I made, I put the horse on because they've always in my life, and its perfect for where we live. The tree is for all the trees that were around my parents' house and the apple trees out in the horse pastures where I use to go out pick for the horses, climb, and sit on my horse under. And I put "IN" on the tree in all the tags because i'm from "Indiana" :)
I feel like I can really hold onto my childhood and its such a wonderful feeling. Especially when Luke and I got married and we moved into our house 2 years ago, we only live .4 (yes that's point four!! not even a half a mile) down the road from my parents :)  I can still go over and enjoy a lovely breeze with the horses out in the pasture with the apple trees.

all packed up....

And a little something for Miss Tammy over at Tammy's In Love. Thank you again for doing this lovely swap, brings soooo many sweet memories. I can't wait to get everyone else's tags in!! :)

Hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy the nice weather!
xo Holly
