Jerry likes to help decorate!!

a peak....
There's so many mason and ball jar crafts out there so I decided to make one of my own.
I bought a couple trees, glued it to the lid, added some snow in the jar and carefully turned them to the side and screwed the lid on. I thought about adding some pretty ribbon around the bottom, but then I kind of like it this way too....very simple.
I also bleached some little ones. {Which was pretty easy!} I used an old plastic butter container, put some bleach in, and added a little bit of water. Add your trees and rotate them around with a plastic fork for a bit or until they are bleached to your liking! ~ I'm thinking next I want to dye some. I always like the pretty dyed trees that look vintagey! :)
Today our kitchen is smelling a lot like Christmas, Bayberry and Blue Spruce are filling the air!
Hope you have a wonderful crafty kind of day!
xo Holly
Awww sweet Jerry looks so cute as he "helps" you decorate. I spy some pretty shiny brites and a pixie or two and a reindeer. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around Holly's...Pretty!

ReplyDeleteJerry is just too cute. I made some snow globes last year and used vintage Santa's. I thought I had made me one but could not find it, so I made another one over the weekend.
