Estate Sale goodies

Hi sweet friends, its almost the end of the week,
and I can see a little sunshine peaking around the corner! (Hopefully!)
Last Saturday I went to the first estate sale of the season! It was a nice morning, and little chilly but lovely! Four generations had lively in the home, they had pretty wood throughout, big tall wooden doors and a cute little staircase that went upstairs to two small bedrooms.
It seemed like some things were kind of high priced, but I managed to find a few treasures to bring home with me.....
A pretty vintage set of sheets that were never even opened,
they came in that box next to them. Wrapped up so pretty too!

A few Christmas tags, and decorations
Love these Jello molds I found just when I was going to check out!!
Some cute vintage gift boxes, one bag is an "any occasion" and the other is Christmas
I love the pretty graphics on them!!

I found this box of these pretty wine stems (I think they are crystal too) and a few beer glass in there....I know I really didn't need any more glasses right now and where was I going to store them?? But for only $1 I couldn't pass them up!
Wine glasses all washed and pretty!

I found this cute suitcase outside in a tent, for $4
I loved the shape and thought it might be perfect to do something fun to it; modge podge some pretties, or maybe paint it??? hmmm.

It's always so fun coming across things that someone else once owned and loved!!
Thank you sweet family for all the treasures!!

Wishing you a lovely Happy May 1st today!!
xo Holly

  1. You really scored! I love that suitcase and those sheets are adorable, it's amazing that they were never opened in all these years. I never pass up Jello molds, they always sell.

  2. Have fun decorating that fun suitcase!! One of my most favorite projects was decorating a round suitcase a few years ago. I used copies of some of my favorite vintage wrapping paper to cover the suitcase.

  3. Nice finds! Pretty sheet set. The suitcase reminds me of a portable hairdryer that I think my mom had. I oping to go to some estate sales tomorrow as Saturday is my duty day at Auntie M's!

  4. Lots of cute here Holly! I have a train case I want to redo too, I'm thinking something with paper and modge podge. Molds are always great, and vintage sheets still packaged, wow! Bring on the sale season! :)

  5. You find some really great treasures. I so love finding sheets that are still in the packaging. Jello molds are hard to find in good condition. You really scored.
