Good morning!!
Last Friday we were out of town for a wedding in St. Louis, Missouri and we found this cute restaurant just a couple blocks away from our hotel. It was called "Rooster," and Oh my goodness was it sooooo good!!!
I got their freshly homemade french toast bread with caramelized bananas and lots of different nuts, powdered sugar, and yummy syrup.
{the hubs got the "St. Louis Slinger," it was pretty good too!}
It was such a lovely breakfast and the place was so cute!!! If you're ever in the area, I suggest stopping there and getting something! :)
So tomorrow morning (Saturday) we are going to attempt our own caramelized banana nut french toast, I'm so excited! I hope it turns out well!! I can already taste it! Yum!
Hope you all have a fantastic Friday!!
I'm getting some things ready to take to my booth this afternoon :)
Hugs, Holly

ReplyDeleteYour french toast looks wonderful, but I'm thinking there is some fabulous yum under hubby's gravy! Good luck making your own!

ReplyDeleteHey Holly, Your breakfast looks delicious, but not sure about the hubs, lol. A man's breakfast for sure...so do tell, what is a St. Louis Slinger? Is that gravy? If so, my hubs would LOVE it too.
ReplyDeleteLove your new blog look, it's gorgeous! :) Pam
